Checkr is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Data Platform team to design, build, and ship core services and data pipelines supporting customer-facing products. The role involves collaborating with engineering, product, and data teams, delivering reliable and secure code, participating in on-call production support, and mentoring engineers. Candidates need at least five years of software engineering experience, strong Python or similar and SQL skills, ETL/ELT and stream or batch processing experience, and cloud data-processing experience; AWS expertise is preferred. The role is based in Denver, Colorado, or San Francisco, California, with an expected office presence of three or more days per week.
