Klaviyo is hiring a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain mission-critical data and analytics infrastructure for its real-time data platform. The role involves creating technical designs, infrastructure, production systems, code reviews, and technical mentorship, using technologies including AWS, Terraform, Python, Kubernetes, ClickHouse, DynamoDB, MySQL, Kafka, Spark, Flink, Iceberg, Airflow, and DataHub. Applicants need a BA or BS degree in computer science or a related field, at least seven years of software engineering experience, and experience with infrastructure as code, distributed systems, Linux, databases, and high-volume data processing. The base salary range for U.S. locations is $148,000 to $222,000 USD, with possible bonus, equity, sign-on payments, and benefits.
