Verily Health is hiring a Developer Platform Engineer to own the technical design and implementation of significant cloud-native developer infrastructure capabilities. The role involves building scalable, secure, AI-enabled platform features using technologies such as Kubernetes, VSCode, Backstage, Terraform, and GitHub Actions; guiding junior developers; and establishing code quality, monitoring, CI, and release practices. Candidates need a relevant degree or equivalent software engineering experience with at least five years of production experience, cloud and developer-platform experience, and strong system-design and debugging skills. The US base salary range is $150,000 to $226,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
