Zip is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Developer Platform team to design and build scalable architecture, tooling, and processes that enable enterprise-quality software development. The role focuses on improving testing frameworks, adopting AI-driven development tools, removing friction across development, testing, CI, deployment, and feature-release processes, improving codebase quality, and enabling daily deployments with canaries and traffic replay. The position requires at least four years of software engineering experience, a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related technical field, and experience with modern CI tools and Docker. The salary range is $200,000-$250,000 CAD, with a hybrid model and five flexible remote days per quarter.
