GovTech is hiring a Senior / Software Engineer, also described as a Developer Productivity & Services Platform Engineer, to build and operate a scalable, resilient platform for government developers. The role combines platform product thinking, frontend and backend engineering, developer experience, production engineering, and the use of AI-assisted development tools. Responsibilities include developing APIs, CLIs, infrastructure automation, observability, self-service workflows, marketplace services, and documentation, while collaborating with product, design, cybersecurity, and agency stakeholders.
