1KOMMA5° is hiring a (Senior) Software Engineer - Device Connectivity to integrate OEM energy devices such as PV inverters, batteries, charging infrastructure, and heat pumps into its Heartbeat energy management system. The role covers protocol implementation, IoT gateway and controller software development, network troubleshooting, testing in Berlin, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder support. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor's or master's degree, IoT integration and device-development experience, knowledge of protocols such as Modbus TCP, OCPP, and MQTT, and familiarity with Go, DevOps, and energy management systems. The position can be based in Hamburg, Berlin, or Munich.
