Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its DPU Integrations and Operational Excellence team. The role designs, builds, tests, and deploys automation tools and AI agents for control and data plane software running on DPU silicon, while leading testing quality, incident response, field debugging, case tracking, and cross-functional resolution. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least four years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; equivalent experience is also accepted. Preferred qualifications include cloud platform experience, embedded software experience, networking and firmware testing, large-scale data analysis, and AI agent automation. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 119,800–234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
