Pyka is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own the software for its Dropship and Cargo autonomous electric aircraft programs. The role covers path planning, flight controls, sensor and payload integration, hybrid powertrain energy management, mission planning, flight testing, and software readiness decisions. The engineer will write production C++17 and Python code, lead design reviews and debugging, mentor other engineers, and work across hardware, propulsion, product, and flight operations. The position offers $166,000–$205,000 per year plus equity and employer-sponsored health, dental, and vision insurance.
