Description
Google is hiring a Senior Software Engineer specializing in memory bring-up to lead post-silicon enablement and optimization of high-speed memory subsystems for custom silicon. The role develops initialization firmware and diagnostic software, bridges hardware and software, and supports performance, stability, and reliability across the Pixel product portfolio. Responsibilities include writing and testing code, leading design reviews, reviewing other developers’ code, contributing documentation, and triaging and debugging hardware-software issues. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of software development experience, and experience with embedded operating systems, embedded systems, device drivers, and memory subsystem bring-up. Compensation is $174,000–$252,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
