Description
Kimbal is hiring a Senior Software Engineer – EMS to build scalable backend systems for the energy ecosystem. The role focuses on solving ambiguous engineering problems, decomposing product and business challenges, designing APIs, services, workflows, data models, and database schemas, and owning features end-to-end. It requires 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong problem-solving and design skills, knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures, and proficiency with relational databases and SQL. Java, Python, or Node.js are preferred, and prior energy-domain experience is not required.
