Handshake is hiring a Software Engineer for its AI Enterprise team to own the product experience layer of AI applications deployed in enterprise environments. The role involves working directly with customers, translating ambiguous needs into product and technical decisions, building full-stack features from data models and APIs through user interfaces, collaborating with Applied AI and Platform engineers, iterating on customer feedback, and establishing reusable engineering standards. Candidates should have 5–6+ years of full-stack engineering experience with strong backend depth, product engineering experience, and proficiency with modern backend frameworks, APIs, data modeling, and React/TypeScript. The position is based in San Francisco, California, with five days per week in the office.
