OCLC is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to independently design, develop, test, and deliver complex software systems while collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers. The role includes leading small teams, mentoring junior engineers, providing technical guidance, participating in architectural decisions, and conducting code reviews. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline or equivalent experience, at least five years of software development experience, programming skills, database knowledge, cloud-platform experience, and experience integrating AI tools and concepts into software development.
