OCLC is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the EZproxy team to lead the modernization of a legacy C-based library access-management platform into the scalable, secure EZproxy NextGen solution used by more than 6,000 libraries worldwide. The role combines hands-on Java and enterprise application development with architecture, AI-assisted development evaluation, testing, production support, technical leadership, and mentoring. It requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and at least five years of software development experience, with expertise in Java, C, networking, web technologies, Linux/UNIX, Windows, relational databases, testing, and modern delivery practices.
