Description
Lambda is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Fleet Engineering to build and improve systems that provision, configure, validate, and operate GPU, CPU, storage, InfiniBand, and networking infrastructure at scale. The role covers production fleet lifecycle management, automation, hardware and site bring-up, machine health monitoring, configuration drift detection, and debugging of firmware, BIOS, BMC, DPU, networking, storage, and boot issues. Candidates need at least five years of engineering experience, proficiency in Python, Go, or similar technologies, Linux and distributed-systems expertise, and experience owning production systems with real SLAs. The position requires presence in the San Francisco, San Jose, or Bellevue office four days per week, with Tuesday as the designated work-from-home day.
