Google is hiring an Android Software Engineering Manager to lead the CallCore platform for Phone by Google. The role defines the multi-year technical strategy, system architecture, and engineering roadmap for AI-driven calling features; manages and develops Android software engineers; makes foundational architectural decisions for large-scale mobile performance and reliability; and partners with Product, UX, Android OS Platform, DeepMind, and global OEM partners. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of Android development experience, five years of Kotlin coding experience, and three years of system design experience.
