Snowflake is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to advance FoundationDB, the open-source distributed database powering Snowflake’s products. The role owns end-to-end delivery of high-performance database systems, including transaction systems, caching, storage engines, and multi-tenant capabilities; analyzes scalability bottlenecks; and contributes to architecture and best practices. Candidates should have at least six years of software engineering experience, systems programming skills, experience with large-scale distributed systems, and strong computer science fundamentals.
