Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Microsoft Advertising Web UI team to build modern, scalable, accessible, and AI-powered frontend experiences. The role owns product features, designs and reviews complex web UI architectures, develops reusable components and testing strategies, and collaborates with product, design, research, and engineering partners. Responsibilities include safe deployment, monitoring, incident response, and mentoring engineers. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, at least eight years of technical engineering experience, and production web application experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern frontend framework. Preferred qualifications include React, TypeScript, frontend performance, accessibility, Azure, distributed services, REST APIs, GraphQL, automated testing, CI/CD, and debugging experience.
