Description
Kira is hiring a Frontend Engineer to own and ship end-to-end product features for its AI-powered education platform. The role partners with product managers and designers, shapes frontend and full-stack technical direction, improves frontend quality and accessibility, and contributes across prototyping, testing, rollout, and support. It requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent technical experience, 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, strong React and TypeScript expertise, modern web application experience, CSS and backend knowledge, full-stack fundamentals, and experience leading complex features and mentoring engineers. The position is full-time, requires in-person work four days per week from either San Francisco or New York City, and offers a salary of $180,000 to $250,000+ plus equity and benefits.
