Rec is hiring a Senior Engineer to own a meaningful product area across its recreation platform, including facility management, program management, payments, booking flows, staff tools, and municipal dashboards. The role involves end-to-end product delivery, architectural decisions, roadmap influence, clean and maintainable code, technical mentorship, and fluent use of AI tools. Candidates need at least five years of collaborative software development experience, strong product judgment, and AI fluency. The position is based in San Francisco in-office and offers $150,000–$200,000 base compensation plus equity and health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits.
