Waystar is hiring a Software Engineer to contribute to its Aware healthcare platform across the full application delivery stack. The role involves designing resilient, scalable, and performant solutions for complex healthcare problems using technologies including VueJS, NodeJS, Java, AWS, and related systems. Responsibilities include participating in technical and product discussions, working independently, and improving engineering standards. The position requires a BS in Computer Science or a related field, at least seven years of software development experience, and expertise in Java, Spring, NodeJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, a modern frontend framework, SQL, REST APIs, automated testing, and distributed systems.
