Affirm is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its International Accelerator Engineering team. The role owns quarterly engineering goals, leads engineers through ambiguous problems, collaborates with product, design, and analytics, supports operations and on-call work, establishes code-review and design standards, and develops team talent. The position requires at least four years of software engineering experience, backend systems expertise with Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes, web application experience with React or Vue, strong communication skills, and the ability to use AI to improve productivity. It is remote-first in the United Kingdom with a base pay range of £120,000 to £168,000 per year and includes health, dental, and vision coverage.
