Description
Apple is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Pricing Infrastructure team to architect and build distributed, fault-tolerant services that scale Apple’s global commerce ecosystem. The role owns critical pricing components such as Pricing Cache 2, develops developer-facing HTTP and REST APIs, partners with cross-functional teams on pricing accuracy and compliance, modernizes the codebase with strong testing, observability, and monitoring, and mentors engineers. The position requires at least six years of experience building highly scalable backend applications, expertise in distributed systems and Java or Scala, experience with SQL, NoSQL, messaging platforms, asynchronous programming, Unix systems, and technical leadership.
