Smartsheet is hiring a Senior Software Engineer I (Automation) to design, build, and operate AI-driven human-to-system and system-to-system automations. The role focuses on agentic workflows, AWS Step Functions and Bedrock Agents, Model Context Protocol, RAG performance, UiPath integration, REST APIs, observability, production support, and mentoring junior engineers. It is a full-time position based in the Bellevue, Washington office or remotely from anywhere in the United States where Smartsheet is registered, with a base salary of $145,000 to $193,750 USD and additional benefits.
