DigitalOcean is hiring a Senior Software Engineer I to lead complex technical initiatives across its distributed control plane, building high-throughput microservices and core infrastructure products. The role focuses on low-latency, fault-tolerant orchestration using Go, scalable gRPC and REST interfaces, distributed systems problem-solving, build and operational workflow improvements, and on-call support. Responsibilities also include mentoring junior and mid-level engineers and driving technical execution from design through release. The position is located in Bengaluru, India and is marked hybrid.
