Description
The Backend Engineer develops scalable and performant backend solutions, partners with engineering, product, and other stakeholders on technical roadmaps using Agile processes, and mentors junior engineers through pull-request reviews and coaching. The role requires a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, at least three years of SQL or database-querying experience with large multi-table datasets, at least four years of backend application development, and experience making technical decisions and coaching engineers. Preferred qualifications include data engineering, data pipelines, ETL, database systems, Kafka, containerization, and CI/CD experience.
