Wellsheet at Elsevier is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and own the clinical data platform API and internal tooling. The role covers EHR synchronization, FHIR ingestion, vocabulary normalization, ingestion pipelines, reliability, framework and dependency upgrades, developer tooling, CI, observability, and production pipeline ownership. The team uses Ruby on Rails with Sidekiq on AWS, TypeScript, and relational databases, and requires strong backend, SQL, debugging, and production-system ownership skills. The U.S. base pay range is $86,600 to $144,400, with higher ranges for New York and New York City, plus an annual incentive bonus.
