Klaviyo is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Identity and Access Management to lead complex IAM projects from design through launch and long-term operation. The role focuses on building secure authentication, authorization, delegation, auditing, and revocation services; improving architecture; defining SLOs; partnering with Security, Product, Platform, and product engineering teams; creating reusable IAM patterns; mentoring engineers; and applying AI tools responsibly. Candidates need at least seven years of production software experience, hands-on Go or Python development, and experience with authentication, authorization, identity, security systems, networking, API gateways, APIs, or SDKs. The base salary range for U.S. locations is $148,000 to $222,000 USD, with possible bonus, equity, sign-on payments, and health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits.
