Prove is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Engineering department in a US remote role. The position builds, maintains, and scales identity verification technology, including microservices, event-driven architectures, data platforms, and fraud-detection infrastructure. Responsibilities include software development, production troubleshooting, technical design, RFCs, code reviews, and mentoring. The role requires 6+ years of professional software development experience, strong system design and cloud skills, SQL and NoSQL expertise, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. Preferred qualifications include TypeScript, React, CI/CD, Kafka, Flink, and AI/ML integrations. Compensation ranges from $170,000 to $210,000 depending on the metro area, plus variable commission or company bonus, with medical, retirement, equity, and other benefits.
