Life360 is hiring an AI-Native Senior Software Engineer II for its Verticals team, focusing initially on the Aging in Place member segment and potentially expanding to Things or Pets. The role owns end-to-end full-stack features across Spring Boot microservices, Java, Kafka, AWS, iOS, and Android, while using AI coding tools as a primary development partner. Responsibilities include building reliable products, defining AI-native engineering practices, collaborating with product and design teams, participating in on-call and incident response, and mentoring teammates. Candidates need at least five years of consumer-scale service experience, one year of LLM experience, full-stack mobile and backend proficiency, and a bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. The position is remote-first within the United States and Canada, with a disclosed US base salary of $118,500 to $216,500 and Canadian base pay of $171,500 to $201,000 CAD.
