Description
The Software Engineer performs complex research, design, and software development work for a software functional area or product line, translating customer and stakeholder requirements into software solutions. The role involves writing and reviewing specifications, implementing development processes and code reviews, working across Agile and Waterfall environments, designing complex data models, and mentoring junior software engineers. It requires at least five years of software engineering experience, a BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience, cloud-platform experience, strong data manipulation and data-modeling skills, knowledge of multiple data storage subsystems, expertise in languages such as Java, JavaScript, .NET, and Python, and familiarity with test-driven development.
