Description
Formation Bio is hiring a Senior Software Engineer II to own a meaningful slice of its Trial Execution platform used in active clinical trials. The role focuses on building and operating production software for site activation, clinical data flows, monitoring, signal detection, and integrations across EDC, CTMS, eTMF, CRO, and lab systems, including AI-native agents and pipelines. The engineer will work with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Regulatory, QA, Data Engineering, and Infrastructure to deliver validated, auditable, and human-in-the-loop software in a GxP-relevant environment. The position requires 7+ years of production software experience, familiarity with regulated software delivery, strong distributed systems and cloud skills, and experience with AI tools. It is primarily based in New York City or Boston with a hybrid model requiring three days per week in the office.
