Description
Microsoft Security is hiring Software Engineer IIs and Senior Software Engineers to design and develop large-scale distributed software services and solutions. Responsibilities include system design, code reviews, testing, reliability and monitoring, automation, and collaboration with product and engineering teams. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least two years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, additional years of experience, secure software systems experience, cloud services experience, and AI/ML systems experience. The role requires Microsoft and Microsoft Cloud background checks and offers a typical U.S. base pay range of USD $102,100 to $202,200 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
