Visionist is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Inference for its largest PRIME contract. The role leads the evaluation, configuration, and deployment of inference models; translates stakeholder goals into engineering outcomes; mentors engineers; develops high-quality inference services; integrates LLM-powered tools; and supports surge efforts. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or four years of experience in lieu of the degree, 12 years of software development experience, Python or another modern programming language, Argo CD or another CI/CD framework, Kubernetes and Helm, AWS or another cloud provider, strong communication and leadership skills, and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph. The position offers a salary range of $170,000 to $240,000 and is based in Columbia, Maryland.
