Description

Ironflow AI is hiring a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Infrastructure to own the reliability, performance, security, and developer experience of its AWS GovCloud platform. The role covers Kubernetes, GitOps, observability, backend services, workflow orchestration, IAM and secrets management, TLS, and SOC2, CMMC, and FedRAMP compliance activities. It requires at least five years of professional experience in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, along with strong AWS, Kubernetes, Python or TypeScript, networking, Linux, and compliance knowledge.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of professional experience in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering
Hands-on production experience with AWS services including EKS, IAM, Secrets Manager, ECR, and RDS
Experience operating Kubernetes clusters, debugging networking issues, managing Helm charts, and tuning workloads
Experience with GitOps workflows using ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Helm-based deployments
Understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, load balancing, TLS, and Kubernetes Gateway API
Experience with Linux systems administration and shell scripting
Familiarity with compliance-driven infrastructure, audit logging, access controls, and evidence collection for CMMC, FedRAMP, and SOC 2
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Envoy Gateway or the Kubernetes Gateway API
Background in PostgreSQL administration and schema-based multi-tenancy
Familiarity with the Grafana observability stack, including Loki, Tempo, and Prometheus
Experience with Karpenter for node autoscaling or cloud spend optimization
Experience with Temporal for workflow orchestration
Experience in a startup or high-growth environment
