Description
Toast is hiring an Engineering Manager for its IQ Grow team to lead a high-ownership engineering group focused on scalable backend and full-stack solutions for restaurant guest experiences. The role owns end-to-end feature delivery, collaborates with Product, Design, and Engineering, mentors engineers, and pioneers AI-assisted development workflows. It requires 5+ years of backend or full-stack experience, strong software fundamentals, cross-functional communication, and familiarity with Java, Kotlin, React, Android, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and AI agentic tools. The position is hybrid, requiring two days per week in the Dublin office.
