Description
Luminor is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Payments engineering area to design, develop, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable Java and Spring Boot backend services supporting the full customer payment journey across the Baltics. The role involves building REST APIs and event-driven integrations, contributing to architecture and technical design, owning solutions through production, improving testing and observability, and collaborating with product, architecture, engineering, business, and platform teams. The technology stack includes Java 25+, Spring Boot 4+, microservices, Kafka, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, GitLab CI/CD, PostgreSQL, and AI-assisted engineering tools. The position offers hybrid work and the possibility to work from anywhere in the EU, Iceland, Switzerland, and the UK for up to 90 days per year, with gross salary of 4500–6500 EUR/month.
