Upstream is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Software Development team in Athens, Greece. The role focuses on Java application development across the full software development lifecycle, including designing testable modules, preparing software releases, supporting production systems, reviewing designs and test plans, investigating technologies, and coaching junior developers. Candidates need a BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification, at least five years of professional experience with the Java ecosystem, and experience with Spring, JPA/Hibernate, messaging technologies, HTTP web services, SQL, Maven, Git, and continuous delivery.
