Apifonica is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and operate Java-based backend services and APIs in a distributed, cloud-native environment. The role covers microservices, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, secure development, incident response, and production service ownership, with collaboration across Platform Engineering, Security, and Product teams. It requires at least five years of professional software engineering experience focused on Java backend systems and offers a hybrid work model in Warsaw with compensation of 21,000–25,000 PLN net plus VAT per month.
