Westernacher Solutions is hiring a Senior Software Engineer Java to develop and maintain secure Java applications for the judiciary, public administration, and other public institutions. The role involves software architecture, technical decision-making, code reviews, security-critical components, cloud and container technologies, and collaboration with customers and technical stakeholders. It is a full-time position with remote work possible anywhere in Germany or flexible hybrid work at Berlin, Heidelberg, or Fulda, and requires several years of Java development experience plus strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST, databases, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
