Description
KAI is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build scalable AI workload scheduling software for Kubernetes. The role involves developing and testing Go software, improving scalability for thousands of nodes, solving complex scheduling and placement problems, conducting code and design reviews, mentoring contributors, and collaborating with users, customers, and upstream projects. Candidates need a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field, at least 8 years of backend software development experience including system design and architecture, and at least 4 years of advanced Kubernetes development experience involving CRDs, controllers, and Kubernetes internals.
