Description
NVIDIA is hiring an Autonomous Driving Software Engineer to build architecture and systems for next-generation self-driving vehicles. The role covers prediction, decision, planning, control, classical safety stacks, end-to-end data-driven pipelines, driving models, world-model-based reasoning, large-scale model inference, robotics, and software integration from perception through control. Candidates need a PhD with 4+ years, MS with 6+ years, or BS with 8+ years of relevant experience, along with production autonomous-driving experience, AI foundation-model or large-scale ML experience, end-to-end driving-model work, robotics or embodied-AI experience, and system-architecture experience. The base salary is 184,000–287,500 USD for Level 4 and 224,000–356,500 USD for Level 5, with equity and benefits; applications were accepted until September 2, 2026.
