Chime is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Lending to lead end-to-end architecture and delivery of backend systems connecting member-facing lending products with shared platforms such as credit risk, capital markets, repayments, servicing, and core financial systems. The role owns complex cross-team initiatives, APIs, integrations, data contracts, scalability, resiliency, observability, incident response, and engineering leadership, while partnering with Product, Risk, Data Science, Finance, and Operations. Candidates need 8+ years of production software experience, strong backend and distributed-systems expertise, and experience in fintech or high-integrity financial domains. The role is hybrid and offers a base salary of $164,000–$259,000 USD.
