Description
AWS is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Lighthouse team within Network Connectivity Services. The role owns the design, development, delivery, and operation of scalable software supporting Amazon's end-to-end link lifecycle infrastructure, including network reliability, automation, distributed services, API design, production issue resolution, and operational efficiency. The engineer will collaborate with network, systems, and partner teams, mentor junior engineers, and participate in on-call rotations and root-cause analysis. The position requires at least five years of professional software development experience, programming experience, design or architecture leadership, and mentorship or engineering-team leadership experience; a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred. The role is based in Arlington, Virginia, with a base salary of $168,100 to $227,400 annually.
