Description
The Backend Engineer will design, build, test, and ship backend services and APIs for Sportradar’s MTS real-time sports-betting platform. The role focuses on small, independently shippable increments, production ownership, monitoring, alerting, on-call support, clean and well-tested code, and collaboration with product managers and senior engineers. It requires at least two years of professional experience with Java or another strong object-oriented language, automated testing, CI/CD, and AI-assisted, spec-driven development. The position is office-first, with team members working in the office five days per week.
