Pioneering Evolution is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own complex components across its federated enterprise platform, SyncCore and SyncPoint. The role covers architecture, domain modeling, APIs, event-driven workflows, data persistence, user experience, testing, deployment, production performance, code reviews, and mentoring junior and mid-level engineers. It is a hands-on senior role requiring typically 7+ years of professional software development experience, advanced C# and .NET/ASP.NET Core, enterprise backend and REST API development, relational data and ORM expertise, modern frontend experience, asynchronous messaging, distributed systems, and strong testing and diagnostic skills. The position is hybrid, with a few days per week at the Arlington headquarters, and offers $132,000–$165,000 plus benefits.
