NVIDIA is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain data forwarding and network function virtualization software for Ethernet switching platforms and SmartNIC offload solutions. The role involves implementing Cumulus Linux control-plane-to-data-plane functionality, routing, ACLs, QoS, NAT, VxLAN-EVPN, and related networking features, while collaborating with architects, QA, and support teams and leading large feature development activities. Candidates need a BS or MS in a relevant field, 10+ years of software development experience in data forwarding or SmartNIC offload, strong C programming skills, and experience leading feature development. The base salary range is 184,000 USD to 287,500 USD for Level 4 and 224,000 USD to 356,500 USD for Level 5, with equity and benefits; applications were accepted until August 17, 2026.
