The role involves architecting scalable systems, owning large features, influencing architecture, mentoring engineers, establishing engineering standards, and supporting production reliability. Required experience includes 5–7 years of professional software development, complex multi-system delivery, highly scalable internet-facing solutions, technical leadership, and active mentoring. The role requires strong .NET Core, C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET, cloud, containerisation, CI/CD, observability, security, and testing expertise, with Azure or AWS cloud experience.
