Google Cloud is hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. The role involves writing and testing code, participating in design reviews, reviewing other developers’ code, contributing documentation, and triaging and debugging product or system issues. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of C++ or Python programming experience, and experience with software products, design and architecture, and performance and systems debugging. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related field, experience with data structures and algorithms, technical leadership experience, and accessible technology development.
