Google is hiring a Pixel Camera Software Engineer to lead cross-team initiatives that define, measure, optimize, and monitor performance indicators for the Pixel Camera Android application. The role collaborates with camera, feature, and on-device machine learning teams to improve speed, memory, thermal performance, reliability, and system health; develops telemetry infrastructure; and uses advanced profiling tools to prioritize and validate improvements. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of software development experience, and experience with software products, design and architecture, performance analysis, and debugging.
