SimCorp is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the Private Debt engineering team, with current work in APL and future C#/.NET development. The role involves designing and developing backend systems, guiding code reviews and technical planning, partnering with product and engineering teams, improving code quality through testing and CI/CD, identifying performance issues, and collaborating across international teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least three years of software development experience, strong C#/.NET and backend-systems experience, and familiarity with APIs, messaging, Git, automated testing, and CI/CD. APL experience is not required because training is provided, while FinTech or regulated-industry experience and exposure to vector-based or functional languages are advantageous.
